Rod Reyna, civic leader and 14-year Pflugerville resident, is
                                     joining the mayoral race.
Reyna is seeking Pflugerville voters'
permission to have him work with and represent the City
Council and the community on the local level and beyond.
He
is a strong leader and can be a "voice" for Pflugerville. To get
out the May 12th vote, he is launching the Rod Reyna for
                                     Mayor, "Win-Win" Campaign--a Reyna
win is a Pflugerville win.

                                     Co-campaign manager, P.J. Buerger, long-time Pflugerville
business owner, states that 42-year-old Rod Reyna has "time
to dedicate as mayor, experience to lead more effectively, and working relationships
established to get the job done. He will hit the ground running once elected, with passion,
like everything else he's done for Pflugerville. Anybody else would be playing catch up for
three years."

As current Downtown Planning Committee Chair, recent Pflugerville Council of Neighborhood
Associations Chair, and recent Saxony HOA President, Rod Reyna has proven his dedication
to Pflugerville's communities.
Rod plans to be an advocate for both homeowners and
business owners by championing economic development, quality of life, and better
communication/infrastructure.

Reyna says, "My promise is that I will build this community by working toward the goals of
Pflugerville citizens, in partnership with Council members, city staff/appointees, and other
stakeholders.
I care about Pflugerville with all my heart. It's where I've established my roots
and have been working in the trenches for Pflugerville's families."

Week 8 - Campaign Update

A Heartfelt Thanks: My family and I are so grateful to have each and every supporter
working out in the trenches along with me.
They are introducing me to their friends,
neighbors, and clients, putting out signs or sponsoring campaign materials, sending in
donations, and getting out my message of Pflugerville needing experience, proven
leadership, and a coalition builder in its mayor, to take us in the right direction--the people's
direction--the greater good.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTES OF CONFIDENCE...

Thank you from the Reyna family:

Reyna Campaign Volunteers/Supporters,
Thanks to all of you for your support in my run for mayor. Thank you for your well wishes
during and after the election.

Thank you for your confidence in me and for standing by me through it all. We need to
continue to stand by each other and those dedicating themselves to Pflugerville, despite the
challenges, for a better way of life for our family and friends--for the Pflugerville we have
grown to love and care about.

Although the election outcome is not what we hoped for, God obviously has other plans for
me and my family does, too. Thanks for helping me spread the message that Council needs
a neighborhood voice, a diversity of experienced leaders in touch with the community (and
not all affiliated with one special interest group), and better citizen communication to tackle
Pflugerville's priorities.

I am proud to have earned your vote. I will be able to look back and say that more than 60
neighborhood and community leaders (plus engaged citizens) publicly stood by me during
the race and said I was the best qualified candidate. I will be able to say that we had
volunteer teams representing more than 23 neighborhoods; plus our campaign was involved
in more than 100 meetings/events to reach out to the community. Most importantly, I will be
able to say I have no regrets in working hard to change things for your family and mine.

Again, you can't put a price on your support of my family. It was priceless. It's my turn to stand
behind you.
